The Australia Day Honours List was announced on 27 January 2023 by the Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia, David Hurley AC DSC (Retd). In the Australian honours system appointments to the Order of Australia (OAM) are the highest and most prestigious recognition for outstanding achievement and service.
